Calypso Suite: Private Spa with Sea Views Near Deauville

Close your eyes. Warm water enveloping you, the deep sound of the jets, the soft glow of the LEDs, and in the distance — the English Channel. The Calypso Suite is 43 m² entirely designed for two to disappear from the world, for a night or a weekend.

Just 2 hours from Paris, between Deauville and Honfleur.

A private spa, just for you

No shared time slots. No hotel corridors. As soon as you close the door, the entire space is yours.

The Calypso Suite — your private cocoon

At the heart of the suite, your private wellness area includes:

The duo spa bath: a whirlpool bath for two, offering the perfect first moment of relaxation as soon as you arrive.

The private infrared sauna — for two, with reclining seats, chromotherapy and built-in music. The gentle heat of infrared works deep into the muscles, helping to ease tension.

The large walk-in shower — the perfect transition between warmth and freshness.

Adjustable ambient LED lighting transforms the atmosphere of the suite in just a few seconds.

Two massage chairs positioned in front of the floor-to-ceiling windows, looking directly out towards the English Channel. Let the massage programmes do their work while your eyes drift towards the horizon.

A smart TV and Bose Bluetooth speakers so you can play your own playlist.

A fully equipped kitchen

A private terrace with sun loungers and sea views. Everything is exclusively for two, with complete privacy — no sharing and no time slots imposed.

Take it further with a couples’ massage

To take your relaxation even further, we offer a couples’ massage in your room. A shared moment of care and relaxation, so you can leave feeling truly refreshed and recharged.

Perfect for every occasion

Birthday, Valentine’s Day, marriage proposal, honeymoon, or simply the desire to switch off and get away from it all… The Calypso Suite is designed for your precious moments, without missing a single one. The private spa can also be booked for 2-hour private sessions if you simply want a wellness escape without staying overnight.

description générale chambre d'hôtes normandie

The Calypso Suite doesn’t exist in isolation — it is part of an estate designed to make every moment simple and enjoyable.

A free private parking space is available as soon as you arrive, with no manoeuvring or stress after a two-hour drive.

From May to October, the estate’s heated outdoor swimming pool is open to all guests — an invitation to extend the well-being of the spa outdoors, with the lush Normandy countryside all around you.

For those who love the great outdoors, a mini-golf course and pétanque court are available: another way to unwind between two spa sessions — and perhaps discover an unexpected talent for putting.

High-speed Wi-Fi is available throughout the estate — useful if you need to stay connected, although we honestly recommend forgetting about it for the weekend.

Because some moments deserve a little more than the ordinary, we also offer a range of additional services that can be booked in advance. On arrival, the suite can be prepared with romantic decorations — rose petals, soft lighting — or enhanced with a fresh flower bouquet, carefully chosen according to the season. For an aperitif or a special celebration, a bottle of champagne or a carefully selected wine will be waiting for you chilled. And to turn the suite’s fully equipped kitchen into a true Norman dining experience, a seafood platter can be ordered in advance from our local partner — oysters, prawns, whelks, langoustines, lobster… — all ready to enjoy without having to make a single detour. Simply let us know about your plans when making your reservation, and we’ll take care of the rest.

Finally, our homemade breakfast — artisan jams, pastries and Normandy cheeses — is served each morning in your room if you wish, or in the shared dining room with panoramic views over the English Channel. The kind of mornings that make you wish you never had to leave.

Deauville and the surrounding area — the Normandy art of living at your fingertips

The Domaine du Grand Bec is nestled in Villerville, just fifteen minutes from Deauville — and this proximity is a gift in itself. Because the Côte Fleurie has no shortage of ideas for couples looking for a change of scenery and moments of shared relaxation.

Start with a walk along Deauville’s famous Planches, at sunrise or sunset — the colourful beach cabins, the soft light over the sea and the deserted sand create a postcard-perfect setting reserved for those who rise early or stay out late. Just across the water, Trouville-sur-Mer and its fish market right on the waterfront invite you to stop for something delicious: a dozen fresh oysters, a glass of Muscadet, your feet almost in the sand — it’s hard to imagine anything simpler or more perfect.

Ten minutes in the other direction, Honfleur deserves a whole half-day. Wander hand in hand along the Old Harbour, step into the art galleries, and settle down on one of the hidden terraces tucked away along the cobbled streets. The town has a rare gift for slowing down time — exactly what you’re looking for on a romantic weekend.

For lovers of the great outdoors, the Côte de Grâce and its coastal paths overlooking the sea offer breathtaking views, especially in the late afternoon when the Normandy light turns golden. A picnic prepared with produce from the Trouville market, a blanket, and the sound of the waves below — some couples have told us it was their favourite memory of their stay.

Those who are more curious can explore the Auge Valley and its half-timbered villages — Beuvron-en-Auge, officially recognised as one of the most beautiful villages in France, or the cider route’s estates, where tastings take place in beautifully preserved surroundings. Barrel-aged Calvados, sparkling traditional cider, pear cider — a delicious way to take a little piece of Normandy home with you.

And for those who would rather not leave the estate at all — the terrace of the Calypso Suite, its sun loungers facing the English Channel and a drink in hand remains, according to many of our guests, the most beautiful activity of all.
